So the new regime is a 15 minute fitness warm up. 15 minutes on a passing activity. Then rest of the hour spent doing what the ladies signed up to do....play a footy game. Ended 1-1! #mumsplayfootball

Great end of season presentation. We were presented with the @StaffsFA_WandG winners shield. Awarded Stafford Town FC Team of the Year. And Stuart named club's Manager of the Year. And with dad winning Staffordshire FA grassroots coach - it's been an outstanding season for us.

Great to have a couple of games this evening against Brereton Social Ladies - especially with some ladies making their #mumsplayfootball debuts 27 Staffordsoccermums players tonight! Very strange that we have soooo many more players when there is a match...than we do at training! 😆

Good to be back in league action with a new look team - although our opening match was versus the same opponents & venue as we kicked off last season. We lost two early goals & went down 4-2 to WalsallWoodLadies U18s - myself & Claudia with our goals. Elizabeth & Fleur the 'POMs'

Back to back wins for us as we climb the @StaffsFA_WandG table. Battled wind & rain to hit seven against Hanley. A Claudia hat-trick, two from Maddy & goals from Sofia and Bel made it comfortable in the end. Lily-Rose got parents vote for POM with Alana & Eli the Manager's choice

Another great turnout yesterday evening. Two newbies...who did very well in the passing drill. And two competitive games to round off the night. Fancy it? Just come along 6pm every Friday evening on the 3G pitch at Stafford Town FC. Ability doesn't matter! Enthusiasm a must.

Our 9 players were magnificent before succumbing to Bradwell in the Staffordshire Girls & Ladies Football League We started with 10 but lost Poppy to injury less than a quarter of an hour in. We held out til 40th minute going into break only a goal down. Supporters voted Eli POM The boss gave the whole team her vote!

Really pleased to get back to winning ways with victory at City of Stoke in the Staffordshire Girls & Ladies Football League yesterday. We had no subs & handed a first ever football game to Holly. Goals from Maddy, Claudia & Bel. And Sofia & Freya kept clean sheets. Midfielder Kat and debutant Holly were our POMs.
