Spring is finally in the air and the lambs are coming think and fast on some of our host farms. We love the sight of them bounding around the fields in the sunshine.

We’re all set this morning to drop off some eggs and hatching equipment to another school in Somerset. Exciting times… 🥚🐣

After delaying onsite visits due to the appalling weather, visits are back on 🙌 It's really important to us that we all make a connection between food & farming learn about where food comes from & understand more about the environment & conservation #education #outdoorlearning

Our week ended on a high yesterday with a visit from MaryEltonPrimary in Clevedon to Lower Stock Farm with Liz and Steph.

It’s been a rather soggy day setting up at the North Somerset Show today but we’re almost ready for you. The forecast for tomorrow is looking better though and it’s set to be a great day for young and old. Come and find us in the Countryside Arena for lots of action packed fun…

Wow, what a great day we’ve had at the North Somerset Show. So great to chat about where our food comes, help people learn the art of butter making, apple juice pressing and getting up close to loads of farm animals. We’re off for an early night now…

There were some great pond finds by the The Rainbow Montessori Nursery School on the farm this week…

It was super busy and all systems go at Lower Stock Farm last week, making the most of the sunshine.

It's been so lovely seeing some of the recent calves out in the field this week at Lower Stock Farm - they're growing fast 🐮.

We currently have egg incubators out at 10 schools, with chicks hatching all the time… How cute are these fluffy little ones? 🐣

Cows really are sociable animals and they love nothing more than coming to say hi when we have a class visiting! 🐮
