Before free agency begins next week, the Broncos have given soon-to-be-released quarterback Russell Wilson permission to immediately begin speaking and meeting with other teams in their home cities, per sources. Wilson’s free agency begins now.

The Texans have re-signed Kicker Ka’imi Fairbairn per source.

Antoine Winfield Jr. was selected First-Team All-Pro this past season after he had six sacks and three interceptions while forcing a league-leading six fumbles. He was PFF's highest-graded safety for the 2023 season.

Bears are placing their franchise tag on CB Jaylon Johnson, who the team still is working to re-sign to a long-term deal, per sources. Johnson’s franchise tag number is $19.8 million.

Colts officially are placing their franchise tag on wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr., who had a career-high 109 receptions and 1,152 yards this past season. Pittman has had a different starting quarterback in each of his four years with Indianapolis.
