Based on dog aging and mortality studies covering about 40 years (1981 to 2023), the lifespan of dogs has increased steadily. Dog lifespan ranged from 8.5 to 15.4 years, with the majority of more recent studies reporting longer lifespans. #CanineNews avmajournals.avma.org/view/journals/…
