It is great to see activities for young people at the local Mosque (Al Hikmah) as part of the Youth Resilience Program.
Refreshing to see the institution has worked with local volunteers to coordinate this and realise the importance and significance of having Youth provisions.

2 years since Sport England funded project for madrasas to encourage ethnic minority children live actively, 30 madrasas in Bradford implemented physical activity plans involving more than 2000 children

PC Mo attended Masjid Ibraheem, Bradford, to engage and congratulate students from the madrassah upon completion of their 5 week On Guard training delivered by Suffia Hussain, in which they learnt about Exploitation, Healthy relationships, Drugs & Knife crime awareness.

The excitement begins for tomorrow's #ProjectOnGuard graduation event. With talks from motivational speakers, food & a chance for parents to see their child in action. 28 amazing YP from #BD3 will receive certs and awards 😃

Our partnership with Born in Bradford and Genes & Health research in Genes & Health Project begins

We are going to engage with ethnic minority communities living with chronic health issues in Bradford to contribute to groundbreaking research to improve treatment of stroke and diabetes

We continue keeping children active through 'JUMP to Madrassa' initiative in deprived neighborhoods in Bradford. Children are learning to keep diaries of practicing healthy behaviours in their daily life with how often they walk to madrassa or drink water.
