The clause contradicts IRF core aim to ensure financial sustainability

A state-owned club by its very definition is vulnerable to political whims of the day from both sides.

To abide by IRF core objective & this clause, state-owned clubs will have to be outlawed

Great display from Kieran Maguire of the scale of the problem facing the vast majority of The National League clubs.

The needs to be able to step in to ensure that these clubs are covered by a sensible and sustainable financial deal.

The Independent Regulator for English Football could be a massive step forward.

But the message remains the same.
