24% of community members served by FYFB in March were 18 or younger. Food banks were meant to be temporary solutions - the reality is we will continue to serve until systems change, and we will also continue to advocate for that change for our community.

Thanks to everyone’s generosity we have surpassed our Coldest Night of the Year goal! An extra heartfelt thank you to the team at openfarmpet for all of their support including their donation of $25,000 that got us to our new total of over $213,000 raised for our community!

This Feb., we saw an average of 5,002 weekly visits at FYFB, a 96% increase over Feb. 2023 and the highest number ever. At FYFB, we have been fortunate to always have food for our clients enabled by our generous supporters who continue to give.  Thank you to our community!

Happy Lunar New Year for the many people in our community who celebrate! We once again gave out goody bags filled with Chinese oranges (a symbol of luck and happiness), green onions, ginger and other items. We are happy to be able to help celebrate 2024, the Year of the Dragon.
