Strong showing by the Mustangs coming out of field events and the 3200m. Three moving on to Regionals at Humble High next week in the 3200m. 1st place Area champion Zade Kayyali, 3rd place Regional qualifier Seth Thompson and 4th place Regional qualifier Aiden Fitzgerald.

Freshman reece dealmeida finishes 3rd in the Pole Vault and qualifies for the Regional meet at Humble High next week.

Shot Put saw all three Mustangs qualify for the Regional meet. 1st place and Area champion Albert Orta, 2nd place Regional qualifier Brandon Schirck, and 4th place Regional qualifier Alex Mabe.

Finished a strong day of Area Meet competition with with two more Regional qualifiers. Zade Kayyali claimed an Area Championship for a second time on the day. This time in the 1600m. Seth Thompson also qualified for his 2nd spot at the Regional meet, finishing 3rd in the 1600m.

Great start to the day as Seth Thompson will continue to compete in distance events at the next level. He signed his letter of intent with @UVUxctf. The Wolverines are getting an awesome runner but an even better person. Congrats Seth!!! #GBT

But wait there's more.... Brandon Schirck and Albert Orta made the trip to Austin to compete in the 5A Track & Field State Championship tomorrow in the shot. They finished 1-2 at the regional meet and look to carry that magic to Austin.
