Attended as Chief Guest this morning at the Opening Ceremony of the ‘Palliative Care Conference’ organised by @AYATeducation at Dhaka Club. I stressed on the need for mainstreaming palliative healthcare while pointing out the areas where international collaboration may come handy

Pleasure meeting Dr. Cherdsak Virapat, DG CIRDAP at my office this morning. We discussed ways and means of furthering collaboration to achieve the goal of rural development and poverty reduction. He also requested Bangladesh to move a resolution at the UN in this regard.

Delighted to interact with the Trainee Diplomats of some of our friendly countries this morning at Foreign Service Academy. I shared with them our foreign policy priorities while also got enriched with their feedbacks.
