It's first Responders Day in Ontario when we celebrate the contributions of paramedics, police officers, firefighters, military personnel, medical evacuation pilots and paramedics, dispatchers, nurses, doctors, emergency medical technicians, and emergency managers. Thank you all!

There's the spring cohort of 15 brand new Frontenac Paramedics seen here just before class this morning. They're qualifying, on-boarding, and easing onto the road over the next couple of weeks. It looks like a fine and capable group so far. It's good to have you with us!

On this final day of Paramedic Services Week we remember paramedics who have died in the line of duty or from duty related injuries to mind and body: At least 50 in Canada over the past 25 years. Visit paramedicmonument.ca to help fund for a monument to be erected in Ottawa.

Frontenac Paramedics are hosting Jana, a Paramedic Student from Switzerland, over the coming weeks. Today is her first day with our Paramedics.

Frontenac Paramedics David, Alisha, Luke, and Garrett stopped by Stn 3 in #YGK to support our Kingston Fire & Rescue partners at their charity car wash Saturday to support Hockey Helps the Homeless Kingston Interval House & Saint Vincent de Paul Society Kingston. Great work for an important cause. Thank you all!

We had a great time at the @9runrun Emergency Service Run in Kingston this morning. . . . and won the Chief's Chili Cookoff trophy to boot! Thank you to all the organizers and everyone who participated. We should make this a new tradition!
