The open weekend at Wollaton Hall Walled Garden is in full swing. For a £1 entry fee (kids free) you can see the magnificent progress in the garden, have a drink & cake while browsing the stalls. Open tomorrow too. Thanks to FriendsOfWollatonPark volunteers for the effort that goes into this

Yesterday I spent the day in Wollaton West ward, meeting local residents and groups alongside our local Labour councillors. First stop was the catching up with the incredible Wollaton Walled Garden Project volunteers to hear about their plans to restore the bothies.

We held our AGM tonight. The volunteers have made a positive impact with thousands of hours helping to maintain & improve the Hall & Park. Thank you Rob and Chris who’ve step down from the committee after 12 years & thanks to Lynn from the Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust for the Bat walk today.
