Students, parents, guardians, caregivers and staff. Due to inclement weather, all Broward County Public Schools and District offices will be closed on Thursday, April 13, 2023. All afterschool activities, events, and extracurricular activities are also cancelled tomorrow.

🚨 Heavy rains have caused major flooding in areas of Broward & North Miami-Dade counties. REMEMBER: Don't drive through flooded roadways. Just six inches of moving water can knock you down, and one foot of moving water can sweep your vehicle away. ‼️ Turn around, don't drown.

In response to overnight flooding in Broward County, FL Division of Emergency Management has issued the following updates: bit.ly/3KugOeO   While the county has not requested assistance from the state, Kevin Guthrie has been in contact with local EM to further offer support.

Schools and district offices will remain closed on Friday, April 14.  Afterschool activities, events, and extracurricular activities are also cancelled, along with Success Saturdays tutoring. Schools and administrative offices are expected to be open on Monday, April 17th.

UPDATE: All DOH-Broward facilities will be open tomorrow, Friday 4/14, with normal operations and hours except Refugee Health and WIC in-person appointments at the Ft. Lauderdale Health Center, which will be canceled.
