Good evening, I’m at Sarasota Schools for this evening’s board meeting, where it will vote to approve advertisement of a new AI policy. Also: Chairwoman Karen Rose is not present. She hasn’t been at any meetings since she lost her re-election on Aug. 20. Follow my thread here:
HB 1069 requires districts to acquire state approval of local reproductive health and HIV/AIDS curriculum prior to delivery. That change went into effect on July 1, 2023 and the state has yet to approve submitted materials. See reporting by Judd Legum. popular.info/p/why-thousand…
