The Naismith Valley Park bridge will be inaccessible the afternoon of Thursday, June 3 due to the uprooting of a tree obstructing the area. Park staff will be present and working to fix the problem.

Be aware you may need to alter your route if planning to use the Naismith Valley Park trail this afternoon!

Our friends at Lawrence Unchained are having a family-friendly bike ride next Saturday! Meet at their shop (721 East 9th Street) at 3:30pm for a ride to Mary's Lake via the Burroughs Creek Trail, one of our favorite sections of the Loop!

We are very excited to see actual, physical progress being made on the Lawrence Loop! Construction underway will complete two segments: (1) through Hobbs Park (pictured) and (2) 29th Street connecting Haskell Rail Trail to shared use path on Haskell Ave.

The trails at the Wetlands are some of our area's most scenic and peaceful natural trails. Definitely worth a visit!

Good evening trail users, a quick reminder this time of year (and with rain in the forecast): paved trails can have slick spots caused by moisture or wet leaves on trails. Be careful out there friends!
