Celebrating Special Education Day, where inclusion is the mission. HISD provides a continuum of special education support services to meet the needs of students with disabilities, by advocating for them to receive inclusive instruction with their non-disabled peers.

Just heard this and agree, as this has been my experience 100% — The loudest person in the room has A. The most to hide and B. The least substance and intelligence of anyone in the room. If you’re annoyed by this then you’re probably that person.

Iowa high school principal Dan Marburger, who engaged a shooter to give his students time to escape earlier this month, has died of his injuries. Being a boss and a leader are not the same thing. A boss focuses on procedures, compliance and the status quo. A leader, on the other hand, motivates people to embrace change, create new ways of doing things and grow as a team. A boss has followers. A leader has colleagues.
