It was a pleasure to join FamiliesInTransition on Tuesday for their annual Thanksgiving Breakfast. Because of the generosity from attendees, they raised $200,000+ at the event, which will help provide for people in the shelter, house families, buy food& help individuals seeking treatment.

My first priority as Mayor will be to bring people together to address the homeless crisis. That's why my first stop was with FamiliesInTransition, to discuss ways in which we can improve our outreach and wrap-around services to help transition people off the streets and onto their feet!
