In the UK, if a person commits fraud against a company and gets caught, they might go to jail.

If a company, like , commits a £120m fraud against its customers, it is regarded as normal behaviour.

Remember this?
In the same year that it came to light that the Gambling Commission regulation and licencing of was an utter shambles.
My feeling is that it was a bogus award (or it was a fix) to shine a favourable light on the GC.
eh, Andrew Rhodes ?

Right a update from me. Yesterday I finally completed my letters to DCMS and FCA Complaints process. They have both confirmed receipt and now I wait to hear the outcome. The evidence of wrongdoing from the original licence decision through until, well today funnily

in the aftermath of the collapse..
Gambling Commission, appointed a new chief after the old one suddenly left, and then went on to win an international award a few months later.

Canute the fave in the 5:35 Royal Ascot suffered a fatal injury mid race.

No mention of this on the news pages of racingpost.com and sportinglife.com

Surely it's newsworthy, or would it be a shame to spoil the party?

On it's own, that is fraud.
Yet the authorities 'sweep it under the carpet'.

2 years since went bust, after they stole £120m of customers money.
The thing that hurts me most (more than the money) is the way they lied and went out of their way to appear legitimate and trustworthy. Even winning a goverment award and being involved with NASDAQ

I wonder what the Insolvency Service are making of the story.
Of course, I'll never find out, as their work is top secret, but I can still wonder.
A big question remains.... was there any 'wrong doing' committed by FI and its directors?

The authorities have tried their hardest to brush the case under the carpet.
Customer funds being used for unrelated projects. Fraud of the highest order.
Good to see ITV News giving it some air time.
