This week some S1 and S3 pupils have been writing poems for the Bainsford memorial. The project gave us the opportunity to work alongside FHS English and we certainly couldn’t have produced such great work with out the expertise we received.

What a wonderful afternoon and a magnificent ceremony to honour the fallen men of Bainsford. We were all honoured to be part of such a momentous moment.

Two of our incredible pupil were asked to take part in the Bainsford memorial ceremony and they certainly did us proud.

Allie performed her very own poem. It was dedicated to Sgt Folley who lived in the same street.

Great day in the CBD and inner city of Glasgow with our Higher and Advanced Higher pupils. Bringing to life the content we have been learning in class and developing our data gathering skills! 🗺☀️

We are so lucky to work with such incredible young people who have made us so incredibly proud this morning. No set of results will ever define you or the way we see you.
