Our partners from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona AIMPLAS have completed the 1st comprehensive look at #nanoplastics' effects on human blood. Key findings: -Monocytes absorb + #NPLs. -Lymphocytes show increased oxidative stress. -Changes in cytokine release & haemolysis. doi.org/10.1016/j.scit…
