Spartans defeat FHN 5-1 to advance to the semis of team districts. We travel to Lafayette, one of the favorites to win state, tomorrow for a match at 4pm. Party up.

Ashley has started her opening match versus a great player from Lees Summit West. Ashley takes set one 6-0.

History made. Ashley Hayes is the first ladies player from FHC to win her first round match. She defeated a strong player from Lees Summit West 6-0/6-2. Round two in about an hour.

Round two starting shortly. Ashley plays a good friend from Cor Jesu. Should be a great match.

Up early on this fine Saturday morning. Ashley starts her semifinal match at 8. A great day of growth to come as the other 3 semi-finalists are the 3 favorites to win state. Can't wait to see her fight!!! #SpartyUp

State singles: Ava from Liberty was just unstoppable, what an amazing player. Sydney from North KC should win an award for the most grit! Well done. Mia from Lafayette gave everything in her journey. Adelyn from St. Joe- great hustle and mental game.
