Honored to be featured in this story about the state of the science on enhanced weathering and the great research our group Benjamin Z Houlton 🌍 Working Lands Innovation Center Cornell AgriTech Larry Smart Cornell Hemp Project Cornell CALS Eco and Evo Biology is doing in the field to make it happen
Had a great time chatting w more Cornell University administrators about how Benjamin Z Houlton 🌍 and I integrate collaboration w/ Cornell AgriTech Cornell CALS Cornell Cooperative Extension and industry partners w/in our research program to make climate solutions optimized and scalable
Thrilled to see our paper out! W detailed chemical analyses we @OGG_CUBoulder Sebastian Kopf INSTAAR 🏳️🌈 were able to trace global-scale carbon cycle change millions of years ago - w implications for modern climate change.
If you wonder what my work conversations with Benjamin Z Houlton 🌍 are like, this new piece of his sums it up - climate change, agriculture, innovation, opportunity, policy, & cross-sector support. thehill.com/opinion/energy…
Nice to see #EnhancedWeathering making it into TheHillOpinion 👉bit.ly/39xFwsw Thanks Garrett Boudinot and Benjamin Z Houlton 🌍 for helping to make this important solution to #ClimateChange more visible in the political space! #ClimateAction #CarbonRemoval
Great to see Benjamin Z Houlton 🌍 highlight great work in Cornell CALS, referencing work by Ariel Ortiz-Bobea @JLehmannCornell & others, getting the word out on importance and urgency of climate change and ag
Thankful to all the Cornellians who agreed to provide expertise for this critical work to update NY’s #climatechange assessment! NYS Energy Research and Development Authority Cornell CALS [email protected] CCE Suffolk Garrett Boudinot Ariel Ortiz-Bobea governor.ny.gov/news/governor-…
Honored and excited to serve NY state on NYS Climate Impacts Assessment, providing science that helps communities respond to climate change 📈🌎 governor.ny.gov/news/governor-…
Having a great time serving on the Cornell University delegation to #COP26 - repping all the great climate solutions/resilience/adaptation/mitigation work thru innovation, collaboration, and partnerships at Cornell CALS Cornell Atkinson Center for Sustainability
Kudos to Community Science Fellow Garrett Boudinot, who is representing Cornell University at COP26!
Great panel yesterday at #COP26Glasgow US Center with Samantha Power and others on needs and future for climate-resilient infrastructure around the world - requiring risk-assessment, R&D, innovation, and deployment from science community like Cornell CALS Cornell University Cornell Atkinson Center for Sustainability
An impromptu penultimate day of #COP26 discussion of youth attendees built on what we've learned to build capacity for the future - happy to share w others the support, insight, and empowerment I've gained as a youth from Cornell University Cornell CALS Cornell Atkinson Center for Sustainability and Benjamin Z Houlton 🌍
Congratulations to our alum Garrett Boudinot who recently served on the Cornell University delegation to #COP26 and will also serve the state of New York with NYS Climate Impacts Assessment! Learn more about his upcoming work ➡ on.ny.gov/3Cwc42f
Wonderful visit with Dr. Asmeret Asefaw Berhe (she/her)👩🏽🔬🌍 at Eco and Evo Biology meeting with our team Benjamin Z Houlton 🌍 to discuss soils as a solution to climate change through carbon sequestration, the synergies of organic and mineral carbon, and show off our work in amazing Cornell CALS facilities
Rock dust can sequester carbon and increase the nutrient of food. I'm working on a trial with Benjamin Z Houlton 🌍 and Garrett Boudinot at a community garden in Brooklyn, NY to test these hypotheses. gothamist.com/news/brooklyn-…
Coastal blue carbon has gotten a lot of attention lately...Stoked to get into the weeds and explore the theory, practice, opportunities, and barriers with Flavia and Kevin Foundation for Climate Restoration 🌴🌏
