The sheer arrogance and ignorance of having your 'process' ragdolled over and over and over on and off the pitch, fan protests, the footballing world calling you idiots and having to fudge your accounts to pay for it all and STILL refusing to compromise on it whatsoever.

This is the worst I’ve felt about the club in over 50 years of supporting Chelsea. Maresca has made it toxic. At least during the bad seasons in the 70s the team still an identity and had spirit. Sporting Directors are to blame for all of this. They and Maresca have to go.

Things are never unrecoverable. There are always forks in the road. The sad suspicion is the people Boris Johnson sold Chelsea FC to don't care about football or the club. Faceless leeches sucking every bit of life out of the club bit by bit. All we can do is protest.

Was mocked for saying this. Since then totally thrown any chance of CL football and got beat at home by Polands 5th best team. Tell me JT would do worse than Maresca is.

CFCJacob90 Ben Jacobs Me too. I've never seen people make so many mistakes and continue to dig and dig deeper and deeper. They won't leave because they know they'll never get another job and Eghbali won't sack them because that'd be him admitting to investors he got it wrong

The major error the club has made in hiring Maresca for a project is that his brand of football is only tolerated by everyone if it wins. City fans hated Peps football but they accepted because it won. If you're buying kids to win in future you're giving fans nothing to enjoy now

Not going to knock WE ARE THE SHED ⭐⭐ for trying to get atmosphere going at the Bridge. The flags are class and I've enjoyed it. That said, the bigger fan groups have a massive part to play in speaking out against Eghbali and Winstanley now or we won't be left with a top tier club.

Remember when I told you that Enzo and Caicedo couldn't play together unless they had Conor Gallagher doing their respective job?

Fullington Fulbright (@ffulbright) 's Twitter Profile Photo

But let's keep Maresca there until June when CL is still in our hands because there was a time Lampard couldn't get a 45 player squad going as an interim.

People asking why the attack is so impotent; it's because most of them are counter attack players who want space. Our creative players Enzo and Palmer want to play direct to use their range. Our full backs want to overlap. And yet the manager does the opposite on every front.

So many shades of the Benitez season about this. Manager playing boring sideways football, no relationship with fans. Lack of identity or sense of pulling in the same direction around the club. Key players unhappy. But players pulled together and played as Chels to win in Europe.

This squad could not be more built to play 433 or 343 counter attack football BTW. If Paul Winstanley had any idea whatsoever what he was doing, he'd be using those data geeks and server farms to be identifying every coach in Europe playing those systems.

This isn't the only change required. The wage cap has to go. The obsession with possession football has to go. They've a long way to go.
