We have been out walking the streets with colleagues from Police Scotland Tayside , Perth and Kinross Council Wardens & SCYD over the last week. Speaking to young people about fire safety, water safety, anti-social behaviour & the dangers involved in exploring derelict & unsecure buildings🏚☀️

It has been 14 years since firefighter Ewan Williamson was killed in a fire in Edinburgh's Balmoral Bar. Ewan was one of the two-man crew sent in with breathing apparatus, but was killed when the floor collapsed. Our thoughts are with his friends and family at this time.

Today, SFRS held a Commemoration Service for Firefighter Ewan Williamson, who tragically lost his life whilst tackling a fire at the Balmoral Bar in Edinburgh, in 2009. A minute’s silence was observed around the Service and wreaths were laid in Ewan’s honour. 💐
