At their April 22 meeting, the Franklin Board of Education honored four students for earning 10 quarters of Straight A's: Carter Esposito and Cooper Turnmire (Hunter) and Natalie Wolfinbarger and Ariana Conde (Schenck).

Congratulations to Franklin City Schools' Franklin B. Walter Scholarship winner, Sophia Aldridge. Aldridge was recently honored at a banquet at the Warren County ESC. She plans to attend Indiana University this fall. Sophia recognized Veronica Kiefaber as her mentor.

FHS sophomore Alex Kincaid's drawing 'All American' has been accepted into the Ohio High School Student Art Exhibition. Known as 'The 99-Show,' the exhibition selects one piece to represent each of Ohio's districts in a show that hangs for two years in Ohio's Capitol Square.

The FHS Academic Team recently won both rounds of their match against Edgewood. The team has 13 students ranging from freshmen to seniors who compete against other league schools in trivia-based contests.
