Ellis started as a City of Houston Park Ranger in 2019 and was arrested in June 2024 by Houston Police. He has since been charged with two counts of Official Oppression and an enhanced sexual assault charge by the Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg. #HouNews

We believe Ellis used his position as a Park Ranger at Cullen Park, Memorial Park, & Cleveland Park to make victims think he was in law enforcement. He allegedly forced them to pay money and/or sexually assaulted them in exchange for their ability to leave the park. #HouNews
