Hi Cotswold Canals Connected
When the Stroudwater was first built, a short length at Whitminster used the River Frome. Later, silt problems with the river prompted the digging of the canal by the side of the river, a section that is now lost. Correct? If, so when was that section dug?

The reward after a miserable morning of wind and rain, a bruiser of a sunset viewed from the towpath of the Llangollen Canal in the Shropshire boonies, where mobile internet is, curiously, excellent.
