Last Friday, our Level 3 Animal Studies students took a day out to support Exotic Pet Refuge in Deeping St James, a local animal charity.

Students were able to help build enrichment, improve enclosures and feed the exotic reptiles. 🐍

Positive news: contacted this morning by Exotic Pet Refuge with a sighting on their cockatiel aviary. This is the more stubborn one, remember, and I managed to get her to eat from my hand before encouraging her rather directly into a travel carrier.

Nene and Welland Oddfellows has been supporting a local wildlife sanctuary for a number of years.

Exotic Pet Refuge cares for over 250 creatures, including snakes, monkeys, and even a lynx! 🐒 🐍
