Lots of positivity on the doorsteps today from voters headed out to support Damien Egan - despite the rain! Always brilliant to be out with Labour colleagues from across the region - thanks especially to Exeter Labour Party and Exeter Labour Society friends who’ve been out all day!

Some more photos because our fans enjoyed the last one so much ;) An amazing day in Kingswood for Damien Egan. Whatever the result, we’ve had an amazing time and met some amazing people over the past couple of weeks! Now to warm up after over eight hours in the rain ☔️

Thank you Ben Bradshaw for asking this question at #PMQs. We’re so lucky to have you as our MP!

A really inspiring joint Exeter Labour Society University of Exeter Politics Society International Women’s Day event at Exeter Uni with Dr Kate Townsend, Dr Sarah Lucas, @CHazelgrove and Emma McNicholas Tony Blair Institute for Global Change Thank you Emma and Claire for being so inspiring to me as a young woman working in politics!

Glad to be able to “beam in” (with Madeline 🐈) from Filton & Bradley Stoke! Everything you and the brilliant Exeter Labour Society team do, Rose, is making a real difference, locally, regionally & nationally. Here’s to great women leaders & congratulations on a successful #IWD event!

Day 3 of the #Exeter campaign yesterday: 📚 visit to Devon Hospitals' Short Stay School, and a fantastic cupcake baked by a pupil 🌹 campaigning in #StDavids and #Heavitree with members and our fantastic Exeter Labour Society 🎉 fantastic combined launch party and thank you for the local elections!

And that’s a wrap on my time as president of Exeter Labour Society. This year we had a record number of members and more women participate than ever before, thanks to our women’s only events funded by University of Exeter alumni fund. What an amazing experience. Cheers 🥂❤️

I’m delighted that Angela Rayner is the first Secretary of State for Housing who has lived in social housing. I grew up in a council house and it provided my family with long-term and affordable stability. Housing is a cornerstone for improving life chances - let’s fix it.
