My latest purchase is a bit interesting. It’s a FirePro s9000 with a w9000 bio, and some unique modifications. I’ll definitely have to check this one over before testing. Much cheaper than a w9000 though.

Just got in this system I ordered, and I think it'll be a really fun case. It's an Inwin D500, though it's gonna need some "readjustment" Haven't decided whether to put a modern system into it, mess around with the current p4 board, or another period system.

The p4 board that came in the case is a little unhappy. It posts unreliability and bootloops when it does. I think it doesn’t like the blown caps. For now I put my 815 board with 1ghz Pentium 3 into it, just so I can have something. I also mostly corrected the damage to the case.

The trash can lives. Although I can’t use it on my tv without getting a converter, because it’s stuck at 30hz. Had to use my monitor instead.

Just bought a switch 2, I decided to get it before prices inflate on them. Time to retire the old tired switch 1(though I’ll probably still use it)

Just got done test fitting the cooler on the Jankmeister, and I have to say it looks much less jank now. I still need a few things like some memory heatsink and a fan adapter. I also need longer screws to hold the backplate on.

This sleeper is looking pretty good so far. Unfortunately I misjudged the GPU clearance a bit, the power connector sticks out over the top of the case. For now I’ll run it as is, but I want to get a low profile or OEM RTX 4060 for it.

Another thing I’ve realized from buying a the SFX PSU, is that the 12v HP 6x6 or whatever it’s called is absolutely tiny! Who the heck thought this would handle 600w?

Finally got around to installing the 4060, and it fits flawlessly, and the panel goes on now. It performs a good bit faster too(although that was expected) The CPU and GPU do run a bit toasty with the panel on, but I can likely solve that with a rear fan and a better cpu cooler.

Discord Support This is being sold as “teen safety,” but defaulting everyone into a 13–17 bucket unless they hand over an ID or face scan is wild but expected behavior by Discord. That’s not safety by design, that’s verification by coercion. It fits perfectly with the broader trend we’ve been
