“If we don’t invest [in vouchers] now, these numbers will just go up.” says Respress of our Steering Committee member Pathways DC. We agree. Council of DC must address the increase in homelessness with more vouchers, not no new vouchers. washingtonpost.com/dc-md-va/2023/…

Check out our Steering Committee member Everyone Home DC in Washington Examiner "We've asked for $55.5 million for PSH vouchers to end chronic homelessness for 1260 individuals & additional vouchers to support 480 families, & we have zero vouchers for FY24 currently,” Cunningham said."

On May 30 (this coming Tuesday), the Council of DC takes their final vote on the budget for the upcoming fiscal year. So far, the council has only funded a fraction of what's needed. If we truly want to end chronic homelessness, we need more from this year's #DCBudget.
