Last week, EWDC celebrated World Read Aloud Day with Booz Allen Hamilton & Manor House Chapter NSDAR getting books ready for giveaway events. In addition to selecting stories that celebrate diversity, volunteers wrote notes of encouragement to hide inside the pages for young readers to find. Fun!

Thank you Josh Kaltenberger for giving your time to our students. As a Reading Role Model, you are showing kids that books are a path to success!

We're halfway through the program year and it's one of our best yet! 6,000 books given away, 132 weekly mentoring sessions, 3,300 kids served across our programs. Amazing!
