Thanks to the CSA collection - Every Icon is in the Pompidou, both NFT and classic versions collected. The Whitney has Color Panel v1.0 and Blossoming - both physical art appliances - but not Every Icon. In 1997 not many institutions believed in collecting fully digital art.

Happy to see ComplexCity mentioned on Le Random’s epic generative art timeline for the 2020’s

On a long enough timeline, every icon will belong to me.

Thank you for the memories, NB - putting together the Color Panel v1.0 edition cost around $12,000 in 1999 - about one year’s rent for me - and luckily Sandra Gering sold out the edition in two weeks. Buying 15+ laptops to rip apart was risky and fun #artappliance
