Our crews have been busy in southwest VA helping Appalachian Power assess damage and restore power in the towns of Glade Spring, Meadow View, and Emory. A number of trouble spots weren't accessible via bucket trucks, so our crews broke out their climbing gear to make repairs.
Part of the massive team of ~7,000 workers supporting Appalachian Power following Hurricane #Helene, our crews are continuing challenging repairs to help rebuild the electric system in Virginia. With 81% of customers who lost power restored, they're making great progress! 💪
