I've been on many campaigns but I've never seen so many young volunteers putting in hours upon hours everyday months before election day. Young people are ready for a say in the future of our city and Evan Sambasivam is proof of that. We won't step aside for the status quo again.

Not only has Doug Ford harmed the kids and families who frequent the Science Centre, but the OPSEU workers who relied on it for their livelihoods. He's thrown us under the bus to help his greedy friends. It's corruption. We need to fight harder than ever before to Save OSC.

15% of Ontario Science Centre employees have already lost their jobs from the cruel and sudden closure of the OSC. (50 food service workers, 28 custodial = 78 out of 500 total employees). Crocodile tears here from Ford, who is no friend of workers. #topoli #onpoli

Waiting 10 minutes for a subway was already annoying. The TTC found a way to make it worse. Stuff like this is why ridership is down to 80% of pre-pandemic levels. Let's build transit to be proud of, not the dilapidated husk it's become.

I spent the morning helping Thorncliffe Park Urban Farmers and 53 Division plant a pollinator garden! Congratulations as well to Officer Vik and Officer Farhan, who have recently moved on from 6 years in the Thorncliffe Park community. They leave big shoes to fill.

It's heartbreaking to watch the Ontario Science Centre get scrapped for parts. Every day it stays closed, Doug Ford is doing more damage. We need to fight on all fronts to Save OSC. That means pushing private companies to boycott the corrupt auctioning of OSC exhibits.

In 2021, the province passed a regulation allowing the TTC to use automated cameras to ticket drivers who pass open streetcar doors, risking the safety of riders and pedestrians. At next week’s TTC meeting, I’ll be asking that this finally moves forward to protect Torontonians.
