🧵#ISC24 Results from the multi-center STOP-CAD study: Exploring cervical artery dissection #CAD treatments, anticoagulation vs. antiplatelet therapy reveals a trend toward lower ischemic stroke risk with anticoagulation, mainly in those with occlusive disease.

RAISE trial establishes non-inferiority AND superiority of reteplase vs alteplase in acute ischemic stroke patients presenting within 4.5 hours! #ISC24 AHA Science #Neurology #stroke

Such an important trial showing the efficacy of thrombectomy in an extended time window without the need for advanced neuroimaging in acute stroke. Important findings not only for Brazil but also for other Low and Middle income countries. Congratulations to all participants!
