Yesterday I spent time with hard working staff at the Auschwitz Memorial Archives who recorded my video testimony which they will use to learn as well as educate. Thank you for helping me tell my story! CANDLES Museum TheStoryOfEva

This morning, in our Krakow hotel, we were greeted by this cute 10 year old “Pirate” from Poland and his brother and father. #Arr!

It was great to see Dr. Michael Berenbaum at our Krakow Hotel today! We shared our thoughts on Holocaust education which is very important to both of us.

Yesterday my staff from CANDLES drove to Katowice, Poland, & found the orphanage where I was sent after the war before Ms Csengeri took care of us. Can you believe the nuns wear bright blue head coverings as part of their habits? I will go on Fri to see it again after 74 years

I met Dr. Fred Bloom yesterday-a very interesting person from Florida who came to join me on our visit to Auschwitz.from Florida to Auschwitz is a big jump. I hope Dr. Bloom will learn a lot and will understand why I keep doing these trips!!

From the CANDLES Museum staff: We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Eva Kor, Holocaust survivor, forgiveness advocate, and founder of CANDLES Holocaust Museum and Education Center. Eva passed peacefully July 4th, 2019, at 7:10am in Krakow on the annual trip to Poland
