Final few days to apply for a Kidney Research UK funded PhD studentship to join our lab on an exciting project using #organoids generated from #stemcells to investigate #vascular changes in children with kidney disease. Deadline on Friday.

Only 6% in Germany. This is disappointing but unfortunately not really surprising. I hope BMBF is working on change.

Wicked two weeks at Central Laser Facility on their shiny new 3i lightsheet microscope 🔬 Eva Maria Funk & Gideon Pomeranz and I acquired 3D images (>6000GB?!) from cleared kidney tissue + organoids, thanks to Dr. Robert Lees & Sarah Needham Even checked out our data in virtual reality 😵‍💫
