I find this to be a strange argument. Christ through His Cross didn't just break the power of false gods but also of the devil himself. To say that the Cross has converted polytheistic false religions into monotheistic false religions is... a blasphemy?

When I first came back to the Church and I looked at pre-Vatican II and post-Vatican II Catholicism, my gut reaction was "these look like totally different religions."

The last time I went to a Mass celebrated by Fr. James Misko of the Diocese of Austin, I wanted to violently bash my head into the wall. I hope I never attend a Mass he celebrates again.
