My father died 50 years ago, he was only 56 years old. He was my hero but, like many young people, I took my parents for granted. I regret that. Here is a Christmas poem that my father wrote when we were children. Religious or not, I believe it's as relevant today as it was then.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Reavey and O’Dowd families today on the 48th anniversary of the slaughter of their innocent loved ones at their family homes in Whitecross and Ballydougan by the state sponsored Glenanne alliance.

Threatening violence @ the DUP crunch meeting is nothing short of of criminal & not the way forward. Reality is, it’s time for power sharing. Get back to work all.

Listening to TUV rep on BBC Radio Ulster this morning actually sickened me. Disrespectful to his neighbours, lack of empathy and not a molecule of tolerance is just pathetic They would rather be steamrolled over by British gov time & time again than accept the hand of friendship

Mick think about Whitecross v Wolfe Tones tomorrow night. Leave all them overpaid jokers to fend for themselves. Up Armagh.

Before his tenure ends, the current Garda Commissioner must come before an Oireachtas committee to answer questions about The Glenanne Gang. Nobody knows more about those responsible for the Dublin and Monaghan bombings than him. Our government must not neglect this opportunity.

Jamie Bryson Imagine seeing people oppose war, and your first instinct is: "Oh yes, international terrorists calling for mass slaughter!" Incredible eye for nuance...poisonous little dwarf.
