"If that's what you have to tell yourself." Though she said this, there did not seem to be an ounce of amusement in her demeanor.

Raven kept her eyes on the male without even blinking. She also began tapping her foot on the floorboard impatiently. Was it Hinrik's fault? No. But she would continue to stare threateningly until they eat.

The sudden jerk of the car moving suddenly was enough to break the serious look on the vampire's face. She began laughing at the utter fear in the other's eyes. "Don't kill us before I get tacos!"

"I couldn't feed on you!" The girl faked offense before jokingly following it up with "I don't know where you've been."

About time.

"Just tacos. The way they come. A lot of them." The girl grinned ear to ear.

Raven watched the person taking the money very menacingly. She smiled sweetly and spoke in a threatening tone. "Don't. Mess up. My tacos." Then she smiled at Hinrik. "Thanks for getting us food."

"When I'm this hungry probably. I'm a vampire. I need to eat or bad things will happen." She stared at the window as she spoke.

"Yes, dumbass. I'm a vampire. Isn't that the first thing you humans learn about us? Hungry Raven = bad for Hinrik. It's a simple equation. I don't make the rules." Ignore Raven being a bitchier bitch than usual.

Raven snatched the bag quickly and rumaged through the contents. "Everything's there." She mumbled as she began plucking her items from the bag.

Raven looked over at him with a puzzled expression. "Yeah? So?"

"Without your permission? That would be rude." Raven smiled deviously to herself for a moment then changed her facial expression to mimic offense. "Are you assuming things about me because of my species?"

"Nope. I was making sure my food was right.' The vampire crossed her arms

"Oh well in that case--" she jokingly pulls her taco back out of the bag

She laughs at him again. "Don't worry, I won't make your car a mess. I'm putting it back." Slowly the taco slips back into the bag.

Raven waited quietly for the food. Not because she was upset, but because she was fantasizing about eating that food in the near future. She stared down at the bag counting the seconds until she could eat.

Of course, he decided to go get food with a vampire. So by the time he made his way to the front door, Raven was already at the door picking the lock.

The door opened with a small click and Raven vamped to the table with the food. "Finally! I can eat!" She triumphantly pulled the food from the bag.

By the time his slow human ass got to the table, Raven was already enjoying her food. She looked at the food in front of her with love. If this were a cartoon, her eyes would be shaped like hearts.

She immediately looked at him with an unamused frown. She replied dryly, "No, I'm just gonna pretend I'm enjoying the sensation of biting through human flesh." And then she smiled and took a large bite of food. One day Hinrik will learn: fuck around and find out.
