Had such a great CPD day with the STNE team. Feeling extremely lucky to work with such skilled SLT’s!

When I was diagnosed with ALS I was told to "bank" my voice. So I did. I read 1,800 sentences into a computer software program. This week we loaded my voice onto my eye gaze tablet. The intonation is not quite right but it's the clearest I have spoken in months. That's a win.

With our team expanding so quickly we thought it might be a good idea to get to know the team a little bit better. So this week we’ll be tweeting about our fantastic associate therapists and therapy assistants! You met Karen Baldwin last week so today we’ll start with GemmaSTNE

Day 2 of Meet the Team week. Next up is Esther Capes. We were delighted when Esther joined the team as an associate. She has a wealth of experience assessing and treating voice disorders, and has a real passion for dysphagia rehabilitation - a service we are very keen to expand!

“Meet the Team” week continues. Today we meet @RannerRowan. Rowan is based over in the north west of England which is an area we are very keen to develop a service in. Rowan loves providing community ABI rehab - she has done it for YEARS - and is a fantastic fit for our team!

Well it is a happier Friday than most Fridays - we get to introduce our newest associate speech and language therapist. We are over the moon to be able to introduce Keely who will make a fantastic addition to our team. Welcome aboard ⁦Keely Scott⁩!

Absolutely over the moon that we will be running a pilot Getting Connected group - starting next week! Looking forward to welcoming 2 new clients from external referrals. Can’t wait to see how the group runs and provide feedback about the group members’ experiences of the group.
