Loved participating in last weekā€™s National Food is Medicine summit at Tufts Nutrition to talk about Project Breadā€™s model. Since April 2020, our program has provided over 12,000 patients with the resources they need to be food secure, and research is showing this model works!

Thank you Maura Healey & Kim Driscoll! This is why I & others fought so hard to pass enhanced summer food benefits for kids. This new program will give families a little extra help over the summer when hunger is often at its worst because kids donā€™t have access to school meals.

Food is medicine and the #MA7 is leading the way in removing barriers to food. Grateful for the work @ProjectBread is doing to tackle hunger in our communities and working collaboratively to close the food insecurity gap.
