It’s more likely that those guns will be used for self harm or be stolen and sold on the street than used to prevent harm. We had at least 800 good guys with guns at our parade yesterday and it didn’t prevent Lisa Lopez-Galvan’s senseless death. We don’t have to live like this.

This 🤬 is SAD man! Kids are being shot and somebody didn’t come home tonight. We cannot allow this to be normal. We cannot ourselves to become numb and chalk it up to “just another shooting in America” and reduce people in statistics and then move on tmrw.

The shuttle busses to Oak Park Mall were supposed to run until only 4, but I just heard our bus driver tell his boss, “I’m going back, there’s no way we can be done.”
