In the Super Regional era (began in 1999), FSU has won the regional 14 times when starting 2-0. In 13 of those regionals, the Noles went 3-0. In 2004, the Noles needed the Monday “if necessary” game. 2006 in Athens is the only time FSU has won the first two and not advanced.

Noles advance to their 19th Super Regional (Super Reg format began in 1999) with a 3-0 record in the Tallahassee Regional. Up next is either Oregon St in Corvallis or USC in Tallahassee. Oregon St currently leads 2-0 in the 2nd. If the Beavers win, all or nothing game tomorrow.
