A less common cause of cholangitis. Pt w/ ccy > 10 yrs ago presented w/ elevated LFTs. CT w/ metallic object in distal CBD. MRCP w/ stone in distal CBD.

ERCP found both (migrated ccy clip acted as nidus for stone to form around it). Found the clip sitting inside the stone.

A less common cause of cholangitis. Pt w/ ccy > 10 yrs ago presented w/ elevated LFTs. CT w/ metallic object in distal CBD. MRCP w/ stone in distal CBD. ERCP found both (migrated ccy clip acted as nidus for stone to form around it). Found the clip sitting inside the stone.

Patient w prior lapatotomy has recurrent small bowel obstructions, on CT have the same transition point. SBOs resolve w non op mgmt. At what point (if ever) would you recommend elective adhesiolysis to prevent future SBO??

Professional tip:

If the OR asks “are you ready to go?” just say yes. It is irrelevant if you are actually ready or not because there is zero chance they are ready or getting the patient to the room

You will absolutely be free by the time they manage to get to the room.
