Today marks the anniversary of Charlie Parker, the genius behind Bebop jazz. "Bird," revolutionised jazz with his intricate improvisation and rapid chord progressions. Despite struggles with addiction, his short life left a lasting legacy, forever changing the landscape of jazz.
