Wonderful to be at Parliament House today for the Australian launch of The Lancet Commission on youth mental health and to acknowledge Orygen’s 10th anniversary as the National Centre of Excellence for youth mental health.
Assistant Minister for Mental Health and Suicide Prevention, Emma McBride MP, was joined by several Commission authors including Patrick McGorry, Ian Hickie, Cathy Mihalopoulos, Ella Gow and Eóin Killackey to discuss the state of the youth mental health crisis, and paths forward.
