Last week, I had a great time sharing my research at the Texas A&M TAMU College of Agriculture & Life Sciences 👍 Symposium hosted by TAMU ASGSA ! Excited to have been successful in the student competition along with my fellow Helms Lab - Chemical Ecology mate, Skai!! Congrats to all! Excited to share recently published work from my dissertation comparing foliar and root herbivore-induced plant volatiles!! Lots of intriguing patterns emerged, such as stronger volatile induction aboveground than belowground...Check it out!! I graduated!! Endless gratitude to my PhD advisor, Dr. Anjel Helms Helms Lab - Chemical Ecology, who is an amazing scientist/mentor/friend/colleague. Very thankful for a great experience at Texas A&M Entomology. In January, I will start a postdoc with Karin Burghardt burghardt lab at UMD Entomology!

Last week, I was invited to share my postdoctoral research at the UMD Entomology Department Retreat. We are finding that neighboring tree diversity impacts leaf phenotypic expression and induces trade-offs against different consumers. More coming soon!!
