Was calling Villanova NIT game. Engaged with fan who wanted to fire their coach who had same results as Jay Wright over same time as HC. I pointed that out. His response 'yea but we're VILLANOVA!' I politely walked away. The way he said 'but we're Villanova' was bat crap crazy.

The ThunderHawks baseball team won 8-5 over UC Clermont, #1 ranked in the USCAA poll. ⚾🏆

The Regionals have no record of the Thunderhawks defeating a #1 ranked team.

I re-watched every made basket AND in detail the last 4:30 of game. Edwards #3 an elite screener, see 1:54 and 1:08 of 4th qtr. Big time legal screens. Iowa a soft screening team, more dribble drive/pitch. A few on ball and a few on OB plays. Saw nothing like the :09 sec screen.

Boy oh boy. Lots of national commentators lost credibility questioning a clear foul. Mark Adams got it right quickly though. #Respect

The first option is to blame a referee and spew venom at a person who cannot publicly defend themselves. WE (analysts) have a responsibility to teach the game and rules. On air, do your job. Know the rules.

Illegal screen by any current rule. Targets defender, feet way wider than allowed, moves into defender and makes contact, and extends left elbow. If a referee doesn't make this call, they shouldn't referee the next game. A foul is a foul in the first minute and last minute.

You can't set a screen that wide, not be set, move into a defender, and then extend your left elbow. By today's rules that was the right call 100%. And then there is the 'Let the players decide' crowd. The players did decide, w an llegal screen.
