A busy final lunchtime of the term! Ahead of all that holiday reading, we got crafty and designed some new bookmarks to take home and keep.

A busy first day back - loads of books borrowed, lots of seniors studying for upcoming prelims, a very generous book gift from a pupil, and S2 boys arguing over who got to read our new books first 😂. It's good to be back!

Our #ReadingLeaders were back at it over lunchtime, making plans for the term ahead. We drifted into discussing representation of different groups in books, and why visibility matters.

January is the month of Burns, so what better time to introduce a new book talk all about Scottish books to S1. Ten fantastic titles were introduced, with some being snapped up straight away!
